Choose Between Two Options $20 for $40 worth of pub fare and drinks for dinner $10 for $20 worth of pub fare and drinks for lunch
The menu pads bellies with half-pound Angus burgers ($6.99), turkey reubens ($6.99), chicken soft tacos ($4.99), fish ‘n' chips ($9.99), and flatbread wheat pizza ($6.99+).
Madison's PubMadison's Pub owners envisioned a pub that had it all under one roof. So when they discovered a 100-year-old, three-story brick building nestled in downtown Mount Clemens, it seemed like the obvious choice to fulfill their dreams. Just beyond glass garage doors, they set up a large hardwood floor with enough room for their patrons to dance or herd elephants, and they peppered the bar with over a dozen high-definition plasma TVs and an eight-foot big-screen TV with surround sound for sports fans to follow the Tigers and Redwings. Owners also set up a smaller bar at the front of the building to give guests a quieter place to chat. As everyone's bound to work up a hunger from all the activity, the pub's chefs devised a menu of hearty burgers and sandwiches, as well as specialties such as mac ‘n' cheese and beer-battered fish ‘n' chips.
Named the Best Bar Patio by Real Detroit Weekly from 2009-2012, the large outdoor patio accommodates hundreds of pub-goers, with plenty of seating and shady umbrellas. The breezy space also boasts a grill, where pit masters barbecue affordable, tasty ribs and burgers to complement cold brews and fresh air. During warmer seasons, DJs spin tunes and unnecessary wool under the patio's hanging cafe lights.

Modern B&B in the Heart of Ohio Amish Country
Holmes County, Ohio, is home to the world's largest Amish community, a culture that eschews modern technology in search of a simpler lifestyle. Consequently, the region feels even more separate from city life than other rural areas, a trait that makes it especially attractive to some. The Inn at Honey Run embraces this ethos while still offering an onsite spa, an upscale restaurant, and other comforts you'd expect from a luxury boutique hotel.
The Inn at Honey Run's aesthetic is a far cry from the earthy farmhouses just a few miles away. Bucolic yet refined decor covers both the lobby and the guest rooms with wreaths of sinewy dried vines and local artwork made of wrought iron and polished wood. Several Select rooms occupy upper floors, where treetops are visible through reading nooks' skylights. Alternatively, Honeycomb rooms are built into a hillside and come with a secluded outdoor patio.
Every morning, guests gather at Tarragon, the Inn's upscale yet casual restaurant, for a continental breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, and house-made muffins and pastries. For lunch and dinner, Executive Chef Scott Fetty draws on his training and uses seasonal, local ingredients to craft upscale American cuisine.
At the onsite Spa at Honey Run, sip on flowering tea before a massage, facial treatment, or body treatment that uses 100% organic oils and scrubs. The hiking trails that crisscross the property are another source of relaxation, passing through meadows and forests and along burbling brooks. For an additional fee of $125, the inn will arrange an authentic Amish-country buggy ride around the surrounding hills.
Holmes County, OH: Bucolic Farmland Rich in Amish TraditionLocated about 80 miles south of Cleveland, Holmes County's rolling countryside is rife with farms and stores, as well as a few tourist attractions. See the Amish lifestyle up close at The Farm at Walnut Creek, which also houses exotic creatures such as giraffes, camels, and kangaroos alongside regional animals like cattle, horses, sheep, and goats. The Holmes County Trail follows 29 miles of former railroad lines, from nearby Killbuck to Fredericksburg, with 15 paved miles accommodating Amish buggies and bicycles.

Without romance as inspiration, The Beatles would have been forced to write hits such as "All You Need is Schadenfreude." Feel the power of love with this GrouponLive deal for one G-Pass to see Huey Lewis & The News and Joe Cocker at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston. For $13, you get one ticket for general-admission lawn seating on Thursday, August 9, at 7:30 p.m. (up to a $25.45 value, including all fees). Because the ticket is a G-Pass, Groupon customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their Groupon at will call.
Two of music's most legendary acts give fans a one-two punch of rock and soul as the true grit of Joe Cocker meets the winsome bar-band blues of Huey Lewis & The News. Although John Belushi gave it his best shot, Joe Cocker's untamed tonsils and fearless flailing are inimitable, allowing the gravelly singer to famously transform tender tunes, such as "With a Little Help from My Friends" and "You Are So Beautiful," into histrionic, heartfelt epics sung with the passion of a man eating his way out of a limestone quarry. Voted one of Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers of All Time, Joe lets his golden throat exfoliate ears as he belts out his seminal hits, along with tracks from his latest album, Hard Knocks.
Since the early 1980s, Huey Lewis & The News' blend of blue-eyed soul and pure pop savvy has been staking its claim in the hearts of millions of music fans. Nineteen Top 10 singles--each custom built for convertible cruises, courting a loved one, or enabling Marty McFly's existence--endlessly populate summer's mixtape to itself. With his backup band The News laying down seamless rhythms, lead singer Huey Lewis charms audiences out of their seats with his earnest tenor and ace harmonica skills. From the grassy DTE Energy Music Theatre lawn, fans can get ready to yell when Huey name-checks "Detroit!" in "The Heart of Rock and Roll" and expect other hits such as "I Want a New Drug," played with zest as he dodges paper-plane marriage proposals hurled by lovelorn fans.
Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through Groupon's mobile app.

New Boutique Hotel Steps from Michigan Avenue
Located one block east of Chicago's Magnificent Mile, Ivy Boutique Hotel opens in May 2012 as the newest work from Arthur Minor, who designed The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas. With swanky amenities including mirror televisions and theater surround sound in all guest rooms, the hotel seems poised to become one of the city's most exclusive hotels. Although the Ivy rises up 15 stories, there are only five guest rooms per floor, providing guests with a mixture of intimacy and comfort that makes it "the only true boutique luxury hotel in the city," according to HotelChatter.
After guests check in via iPad, hotel staff members personally escort them to 675-square-foot king suites. A paragon of modern design, the suites contain platform beds with white leather headboards and floor-to-ceiling windows that open. Eco-friendly bamboo flooring, along with organic towels and rugs made from thistle, help to reduce the hotel's carbon footprint. Guests can watch the flat-screen TV set in the vanity mirror while getting ready in the morning or practice Tarzan-style affirmation chants in the rainforest shower.
The Ivy is also in the process of opening an intimate 30- to 40-person restaurant and bar on the first floor. "We will try to use as much organic produce as possible," manager James Cazares says of his upcoming, reservations-only hot spot. A rooftop lounge opening in June will offer picture-perfect views of the city.
Gold Coast, Chicago: Ritzy Residential Neighborhood with Historical Mansions and Hip RestaurantsLocated north of downtown, Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood hugs the shore of Lake Michigan, occupying some of the city's most desirable real estate. Its reputation as an upscale residential spot dates back to 1882, when wealthy businessmen began building castle-like mansions along the waterfront. For a glimpse at these historical estates, head to the Seven Houses on Lake Shore Drive District, where you'll find a French-chateau-inspired mansion that now serves as the International Museum of Surgical Science. A walk down Astor Street reveals some of the city's most unique architecture, including the Charnley-Persky House built by Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright in 1892.
Those looking for a hip nightlife will find trendy restaurants and nightclubs-many of which are open until 5 a.m.-catering to a well-dressed crowd. For people watching and the occasional celebrity sighting, head to Rush and Division, a see-and-be-seen spot dotted with upscale shops, classic Chicago bars, and diamond-encrusted parking meters.

All-Inclusive Resort on the Caribbean Sea with Trapeze Lessons and Eclectic Dining
At Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach, "all-inclusive resort" means much more than unlimited dinners and mai tais. Right in between the beach and the resort, you can learn how to trapeze at an open-air training facility surrounded by netting. Head up to the trapeze platform for a free lesson, and you can see the Caribbean Sea stretch out for miles right next to the resort's private, 5,000-foot stretch of pristine golden beach lined with palapas below.
The trapeze lesson is one of many ways the resort goes beyond the typical all-inclusive experience. When you're not relaxing at the beach, the all-inclusive plan frees you up to try a scuba-diving lesson, take yoga classes, climb a rock wall in the gym, or take in some live entertainment.
The beachfront resort is spread out like a small village, lined with flagstone pathways, landscaped gardens, three pools, and a shady coral stone grotto. At night, you can stop by the discotheque and dance to spicy meringue music, or head to the theater to enjoy a live performance of musicals such as Moulin Rouge or Cabaret. As the night winds down, stop for a midnight snack at the 24-hour pizzeria.
Guests can enjoy unlimited food and drinks from five restaurants and four bars, including La Terraza, a breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot that serves an international buffet. You can get a nice view of the sunset on the waterfront patio of La Roca Grill, which serves tropical cocktails and fried calamari.
Beachfront bungalows are located steps from the ocean, so guests can fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves and the squeals of dolphins watching horror films.
Bayahibe, Dominican Republic: Renowned Scuba Diving with White-Sand BeachesBayahibe is situated on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic on the shore of the Caribbean Sea. The former fishing village remained relatively untouched by tourism until the late 1990s, when it became known for its white-sand beaches and scuba-diving sites, but it still has a tucked-away feel.
For diving and snorkeling, it's worth it to take a trip to Saona Island, an uninhabited nature reserve located just off the mainland. Tour operators on catamarans and motorboats will drop you around the area's sandbars and shipwrecks, which overflow with brightly colored fish.
About 20 miles (32 km) from the hotel, the cobblestone streets of Altos de Chavon are lined with artists' studios, galleries, and quaint cafes. The European-inspired village is also home to a 5,000-seat amphitheater, which has featured headlining shows from legendary artists including Frank Sinatra and Shakira.

Spacious Suites in Quiet Detroit Suburb
You'll typically hear Detroit nicknamed "The Motor City" for being the American headquarters of auto giants like General Motors. But before it was paved with highways, Detroit was fancied as a strategic port to control ships and commerce on the Great Lakes. In fact, there are three world emblems on the Detroit city flag: France, England, and the United States. The city has been ruled by all three since first being settled by Europeans near the turn of the 18th century.
Detroit is a city rich with history and cultural institutions, and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Detroit Warren is conveniently located in a suburb near downtown but just removed enough if you want to have a quiet night in.
As you walk in the lobby, you'll find a fireplace amid Bavarian-styled decor. Head up to your one-bedroom king suite and you'll find a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider, a box of chocolates, and a bouquet of fresh flowers waiting as part of the romance package. Each spacious suite is laid out more like a cozy apartment than a hotel; there's a kitchenette stocked with pots and pans, and you can feel free to sink into couches in the living room or take a relaxing bath in quicksand.
In the morning, head downstairs to the Hawthorn's dining area to enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast, which includes waffles, eggs, and oatmeal.
Greater Detroit, Michigan: Giant Art Collection, Legendary Motown Museum, and Quirky NeighborhoodsLocated in southern Michigan, Detroit is close to Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie, and right below massive Lake Huron. Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Detroit Warren is located in a quiet suburb about 15 minutes away from downtown.
Detroit's downtown has some excellent museums. One of these is the Detroit Institute of Arts, a 658,000-square-foot art museum considered to be one of the finest of its kind in the country. Among its vast collection: a dragon tile relief from the Ishtar Gate of Babylon and a self-portrait of Vincent van Gogh.
The Motown Museum is in the same house where legends such as Stevie Wonder, the Supremes, and the Jackson 5 recorded some of their most classic songs. In one of the studios, you can see a giant divot in the wooden floor where producers and sound technicians tapped their foot to the beat of the songs as they were recorded.
Greektown, which is northeast of downtown, is a quirky neighborhood that has stuck to its immigrant roots. Monroe Street in particular is lined with buildings made to resemble the Parthenon and Pegasus, and Greek music plays outdoors next to themed eateries.

Dancing Feats Dance CentreThe record skipped over and over. It was the third time Lisa Schwartz had pirouetted her way through Tina the Ballerina, and yet she raced over to the record player with inexhaustible enthusiasm and plucked the needle back to the beginning of the 78. If you were to ask her today, she would tell you this is the moment she knew she loved dance enough to make it her life's work. Her studio, Dancing Feats Dance Centre, springs from that love. She watches with pride as students she taught as children return to her studio to become instructors and as parents who once studied under her prepare to send a second generation of children and domesticated penguins onto her dance-room floor. Over the years, she has assembled a staff of instructors with a vast array of backgrounds, ranging from cruise-company dance managers to ballet dancers. With help from their varied experience, her studio has developed a regiment of courses in a variety of dance styles, such as jazz, lyrical, modern, and chicken. Her students perform regularly in recitals as well, showcasing their abilities and talents as they progress.

Microdermabrasion takes a gentle approach to softening faces, unlike taking a hair dryer to a smug-looking snowman. Smooth things over with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options $29 for a basic hydrating facial (a $60 value) $89 for three microdermabrasions and an ear-candling treatment (a $180 total value)
The 40-minute basic hydrating facial begins with a skin evaluation from a licensed aesthetician. Using carefully selected Pevonia products and aromatic oils, she cleanses and hydrates the face, performing extractions if necessary. During each 15-minute microdermabrasion, the skin specialist sprays a shower of tiny crystals over the skin's surface to buff away dead cells, which allows new healthy skin to grow. The microdermabrasion includes one ear-candling treatment, which uses the low-level vacuum of a melting wax tube to draw out earwax and impurities from the ears in a 20-minute session.
Courant Petit SpaLicensed aesthetician Nadine Thompson leverages a full spectrum of Pevonia natural skincare products in order to remedy dry, sensitive, and blemished skin. The 17 facials that fill out the menu target imperfections of all types-from signs of aging to skin suffering from rosacea-with aromatic oils, extractions, and masks. Microdermabrasions and chemical peels provide more intense resuscitation for faces stifled by separation-anxious skin cells, and paraben-free mineral makeup teams up with eye and lip treatments to help features mirror their revamped surroundings.

Choose from Three Options $25 for 5 drop-in classes (a $75 value) $40 for 10 drop-in classes (a $150 value) $30 for 3 personal-training sessions (a $90 value)
Students hit the ground running in kickboxing, ball-training, and strength-conditioning courses, each designed by a former kickboxing champion to define muscle, bolster balance, and hone coordination. He also teams up with exercisers for one-on-one personal-training sessions, in which students focus on weightlifting while they learn safe and effective methods for building muscle and avoiding injury.
World Sports FitnessBefore founding World Sports Fitness, Pierre F. Mouele routinely went toe-to-head in the ring, earning a kickboxing championship title. Finally, he hung up his gloves and retired his cactus-covered shoes so that he could use his boxing training to whip people into shape. Today, he puts his clients and classes through the same demanding conditioning regimen that prepared him to lay out his opponents.
His students cut swathes of muscle pummeling red, black, and blue punching bags in Shotokan karate and self-defense classes. Alternatively, clients heft weights and toss heavy balls during strength-conditioning courses, which help them sculpt a fighter's body without any of the impact exercises associated with traditional boxing training, such as getting constantly punched.
Blue and red padded squares glow underfoot in the vast gym, unused punching bags standing in neat ranks to the side of the space. Above them hang tidied rows of flags, representing the many nations and organizations from which World Sports Fitness draws its curriculum.

Most dancing requires a predictable beat, which is why party DJs rarely play symphonies or audiobooks of Stephen King novels. Despite their determinedly of-the-moment sound, RedFoo and SkyBlu are carrying on a long pop lineage: the former is Motown founder Berry Gordy's son, the latter his grandson. As red-hot electropop duo LMFAO, the uncle-nephew pairing electrifies dance floors with manic odes to party life. The 2012 Sorry for Party Rocking tour explodes with fan favorites such as "Party Rock Anthem" and newer hits such as "Sexy and I Know It," whose bouncy swagger dominated the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 28 weeks. The band parades in neon animal prints amid backup dancers, bobbing beneath giant robot heads, tossing inflatables into the crowd, and creating a spectacle Metro Weekly calls "enormously entertaining."
The LA-based foursome Far East Movement straddles the worlds of underground DJ culture and crowd-pleasing electronica with such hits as "Like a G6" and "Jello." After winning the third season of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, The Quest Crew diversifies the bill's skill set with acrobatic hip-hop moves, gravity-defying leaps, and dangerously intense head bobs. Legacy Art Studio and Gallery
A reiki healer and fifth-generation painter, Hannah Manges believes in the power of intuition, such as when she sensed that what her adult art students needed most was to finger paint. Though she's classically trained, Manges never cared for the rigidity and competitiveness that often characterized the art industry. She further saw that teaching her adult students in a classical tradition took the joy out of things; most of them were there to try something new and expand themselves, not master technique. So during a class in which her students struggled to find joy in their work, she put their palettes away and grabbed a stack of paper plates. Thus began her BYOB finger-painting class, which has evolved into an experience in which people "kick off their shoes, have some wine, and have some fun."
Though the BYOB finger-painting course remains among her most popular-it's earned recognition in local press, such as the Midland Daily News-Manges leads other classes that range from couples' painting workshops to watercolor for beginners. She also teaches art via her television series, Painting Pictures with Hannah Manges, on Midland Community Television Network Channel 99. "I'm becoming a celebrity to all the 80-year-old women in town who read the paper and watch public television," she laughs.
To further encourage students and visitors to become more comfortable with art, Manges posts signs throughout her gallery that say, "Please touch everything." She encourages everyone to fully experience each piece of her art, which includes The Healing Tree series, a collection Manges began to connect with her deceased mother.

Despite their destructive cinematic depictions, most lasers are helpful, often found assisting slideshow presentations and playing DVDs for people who aren't entertained by just staring at the shiny part. Let a laser do some good with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options $199 for a laser toenail-fungus-removal treatment for one foot (a $695 value) $299 for a laser toenail-fungus-removal treatment for both feet (a $945 value)
During quick treatments, which last 10 minutes per foot, the handheld device directs short pulses of near-infrared laser light directly at underlying toenail fungus, clearing the way for healthy nails to grow in over the course of 9-12 months. Though some patients have success after one session, up to three treatments may be necessary to completely kill fungal colonies. Treatments cause little to no discomfort, and patients may immediately resume normal activities, such as painting toenails or using feet to flag down cabs.
Dr. Philip H. KreschDr. Philip H. Kresch understands the frustration that comes with having toenail fungus. Working in the podiatry field for more than 30 years, he's seen patients battle with ineffective topical solutions and oral medications that can cause undesirable side effects, such as uncontrollable quickstepping. The pursuit of an effective, no-fuss treatment led him to affix his office with the latest technology for battling toenail fungus-the Q-Clear laser system. Unlike with previous laser procedures, the system's calibrated energy wavelengths can destroy fungal growths without the use of medications in as little as one to three treatments.

This coaching philosophy-designed to build swings that travel on a controlled, vertical axis rather than in a less dependable merry-go-round motion-serves as the unifying force in all of the Academy's instructional programs and as the building block for the development of a consistent, correctable, and windshield-friendly swing. Instructors use golf-simulator and swing-analyzer technology to scrutinize imperfect motions and weighted, molded-grip clubs and other training aids to guide clients toward proper technique. To further optimize patrons' pin-hunting prowess, the Academy offers club-fitting services, which pair clients with the clubs or modified pool noodles that best fit their unique swing profile.
